Someone once told me, “Love is irrational”. I have been a believer since. Why would i drive 17 miles (fatigued with eyes barely open) at 1 in the morning to arrive and almost immediately fall asleep with him, only to have to leave early the next day? Why couldn’t i just wait until the next available day and set a “proper” day to spend together, save myself some money, gas, sleep? Because, “love is irrational”. The tempting thought of being free and able to do these things challenges us, and there is only a one track mind once affection wins us over. We become selfless most of the time. We tend to do nonsensical things, things that seem so silly and yet perfectly prevalent in your mind. It almost strikes me as an addiction, and sometimes yes, you must step back for a moment and evaluate…evaluate this mutual addiction as it seems to be at times. This fixation with another soul. You burrow yourself in a spot in their big life, they let you in and lock you in there. You two share memories, discover insecurities and flaws (are they flaws though, if i’m in love with them?) your guard is down. Is it dangerous? of course it is. So, why do we risk the potential loss? Well that’s just the beauty of it. Two people coming together, shedding security onto each other’s lives. To know that if you’re tumbling down, there will be arms to catch your fall and help you rebuild…or even just to understand and listen to you; let you pour out every thought in your mind whether it be stirred up, happy excited thoughts or on-the-brink of breakdown helpless ones. To create the illusion that you are not alone during your time living, when in reality every person is born and will die . That one person eliminates all boundaries. For those in love, you have the greatest fire…let it run wild. reblogged via danigoods

WHITEHURST FRWY :: Head Underwater Mixtape
When you drive the Whitehurst Freeway bypassing the heart Georgetown here in Washington DC you get a mix of everything. Nature with the Potomac River and plenty of greenage to your left, history as you drive straight ahead heading east getting a pleasant view of the Kennedy Center, and city as you’re dropped onto K Street in northwest DC. I a liken this to that, it’s got a bit of everything to keep that Summer freshness that you want to grasp onto that the fall and impending winter winds are coming to blow.
Do not forget to support these artists and buy their music in whatever format your little heart desires. I cannot stress that enough, they need to eat too. If you buy a physical copy make sure you support your local record stores too.

As my blaug bro Mark puts it so well: please create a new playlist in iTunes and then click and drag the folder to import, thereby maintaining track order. If your file doesn’t uncompress, you may have had a glitch in your internet connection during transfer. I suggest waiting and then downloading again in a while.
